Psycho Dream is a science-fiction action platformer about people who retreat into virtual movies called DMovies and lose touch with reality. The government sends agents Ryo and Maria, members of a special unit known as the Diamond Dogs, into these virtual worlds to rescue those trapped inside. Their mission is to find Sayaka, who is caught in one of the movies.
The game takes the player through six stages filled with dangerous creatures. Ryo and Maria are both playable, and each has different skills for facing the challenges within the DMovies.
