A social simulation with role-playing and strategy elements puts players in charge of the Playboy empire as Hugh Hefner. The player develops the mansion and magazine, which must be published every month, with the goal of building the brand into a cultural icon.
To gather material for the magazine, Hefner hosts parties attended by celebrities and rock stars, while managing the social interactions helps generate content. Photo shoots provide images for the cover, and rising fame unlocks access to the Playboy Archives, including footage of the mansion.
