This platform action game follows Pitfall Harry as he explores the caves and wilderness of Peru in search of the Raj diamond and his niece Rhonda and their animal companion, Quickclaw. Pitfall 2: Lost Caverns continues Pitfall! with an expansive world to explore and no timed levels.
Harry runs and jumps, climbs ladders, rides balloons upward, and swims. He collects gold bars while navigating hazards; enemies and traps reduce the score, but do not cost him a life. Red crosses act as checkpoints, returning Harry to the last one he found after he is hit.
