This text adventure follows a search for Long John Silver’s lost treasure on pirate islands. The story begins in a London flat, from which the protagonist reaches Pirate Island by magic. There, the player must build a ship and sail to Treasure Island to find two pieces of treasure.
Gameplay involves moving between locations, collecting objects, and using them elsewhere to solve puzzles. Commands combine a verb and a noun. An unpredictable pirate ally accompanies the protagonist, making this the first text adventure in Scott Adams’s series to feature a second character sharing the adventure.
