An arcade puzzle game combining pinball and pachinko elements, Peggle Extreme follows an invasion of the Peggle Institute by otherworldly creatures. The Peggle Master fights back by firing balls at the intruders and clearing orange pegs from the board before running out of shots.
A ball is launched from the top of the screen and bounces off blue and orange pegs as gravity pulls it downward. A moving bucket at the bottom provides extra balls, while green pegs activate Bjorn the Unicorn’s power-up, which reveals the shot’s path after its first few bounces. The game features 10 levels, five Master challenges and a Duel mode against a friend or the computer, with artwork and sounds themed around Half-Life: Episode 2, Portal and Team Fortress 2.
