Combining real-time strategy with arcade combat, this game recreates naval and air battles of World War II in the Pacific. Players can command the United States, Japan, or Great Britain, develop technology and manage resources, while using diplomacy to form alliances with computer-controlled Soviet, Dutch, or German forces.
Available forces include historically based fighters, bombers, submarines, battleships, and aircraft carriers; named ships include the Bismarck and HMS Hood. Alongside directing fleets from a strategic perspective, players can take direct control of a deck gun or aircraft. The game includes historical missions, theater-wide campaigns, single-player battles against AI, online competitive matches, and cooperative play.
