This fantasy action-adventure with strategy and puzzle elements takes place before the original Overlord and gives fairy-tale lore a satirical twist. Players control a young Overlord who learns to command Minions and defend his castle and lands from the inhabitants of the surrounding tales.
Minions can be directed against enemies or turned into living projectiles: after building up momentum, one can be sent hurtling toward a target. The characters and creatures include Halflings, trolls, elves, dwarves, wicked witches, gingerbread men and Little Red Riding Hood, who conceals a lupine secret.
