This tactical first- and third-person shooter centers on a fictional conflict on one of the Sakhalin islands, with the fighting threatening to escalate into a global confrontation. The player takes the role of a US soldier in an allied force battling numerically superior Chinese troops for control of the island.
The campaign casts the player in several roles, including infantry soldier, tank commander, special forces operative, and helicopter pilot. Missions combine firefights with tactical planning and objectives such as reconnaissance patrols and covering an allied unit’s retreat. More than 100 weapons and vehicles are available, including tanks, armored personnel carriers, and attack and utility helicopters.
