OBEY is an asymmetrical multiplayer game built around players commanding their opponents and sometimes following their orders in turn. Each player decides whether to obey, and the winner is whoever earns the most money by the end of the round.
The main way to boost earnings is to take control of a giant robot: its pilot makes ten times as much as the other players and can destroy opponents in sight. Instead, the pilot can bribe or coerce them into doing what they want. Players outside the robot must rely on stealth, trickery, and intelligence to evade control and find a chance to seize the initiative.
