This third-person action game follows ninja Ryu Hayabusa as he faces a masked man whose motives remain unclear. Mysterious powers change Hayabusa, blurring the lines between hero and villain. For the first time in the series, the story is seen through Ryu’s eyes and explores what drives him to fight and kill.
In Ninja Gaiden 3, players fight with the Dragon Sword and hone Hayabusa’s skills. Alongside the single-player adventure, the game features online cooperative and competitive modes. It takes the series in a new direction, presenting the world of the ninja through Hayabusa’s personal experience.
