N+ is an arcade platformer set in a futuristic world where a ninja tries to survive among robots that inadvertently kill everything around them. Players run and jump through levels, using acrobatic movement and physics to avoid hazards and reach the exit; failures are accompanied by comic ragdoll animations. The game contains more than 300 levels and imposes no limit on retries.
Levels can be replayed to improve completion times, and a built-in editor lets players create their own challenges. Multiplayer includes cooperative and competitive modes, with options such as survival, racing, and co-op play.
