This first-person adventure takes place on the mysterious island of Myst, where the player explores the surroundings and solves puzzles. Movement takes place between images of locations, while interacting with objects can reveal clues and open new areas.
Solving puzzles grants access to other worlds known as Ages, which reveal the characters’ backstory. Notes and journal pages provide further context, while exploring the island helps the player understand events and decide whom to aid. Some items can be carried and read.
