A team-based first-person shooter with real-time strategy elements, Murnatan pits humans against aliens in a fight for survival and the destruction of the opposing base. The factions have different mechanics and call for distinct tactics: humans use stamina when sprinting or jumping, while aliens regenerate damage, and some can climb walls.
Players hunt enemies, attack their spawn points and construct buildings. Kills and other actions earn resources for each team: humans spend credits on weapons, armour and equipment, while aliens use evolution points to become more advanced creatures. As teams defeat enemies, they advance through stages that unlock stronger weapons, alien forms and structures.
