Monster Adventures is an action RPG that combines monster catching with exploration and combat. The player catches, creates, and customizes creatures, assembles a team, and develops it by leveling up monsters. As the hero travels through the wilderness, they uncover a story, take on quests, and find loot.
Exploration leads deeper into the wilderness and follows roguelike principles. Battles can pit a team of monsters against teams from around the world, while cooperative play lets friends join forces.
