MLB 2004 is a baseball simulation focused on pitching, with career and season play. Total Control Pitching lets players choose each pitch’s type, location, and speed in an effort to make batters hit an unfavorable pitch. The game’s AI was developed with input from more than 24 professional players. Career Mode spans ten years, while Season Mode covers a single season; Home Run Derby is a home-run hitting contest, and Spring Training Mode follows a rookie from preseason training to the World Series.
