Madden NFL 10 is an American football simulation presented with a television-style broadcast and cinematic camera work. Its Pro-Tak technology gives players more influence over plays, from driving defenders toward the first-down marker to joining gang tackles and fighting for a loose ball. Other changes include quarterback moves to evade pressure and an overhauled blocking system at the line of scrimmage.
In Franchise mode, players can draft athletes, sign free agents, and manage the salary cap. Online modes support both competitive and cooperative play, while a league-wide highlight show covers key moments from games. Gameplay settings can be adjusted, and a revamped play-calling system helps get matches underway faster.
