This sandbox with simulation elements lets players draw tracks for a boy on a sled to ride, with the journey governed by simulated physics. Line Rider has no set objective or ending: the player designs a route and sees whether the rider can stay on the sled. The lines need to be smooth enough for the ride to continue.
Tracks can include loops and other stunts, and completed routes can be saved and shown to others. The simple premise supports both straightforward slopes and intricate creations, including background drawings and tracks timed to music.
