Knights Contract is an action-adventure set in an era of witch hunts, following Heinrich, an immortal executioner, and Gretchen, a resurrected witch. Heinrich once killed her on the orders of Dr. Faust, but Gretchen now controls him, and the two must fight supernatural foes spreading a deadly curse among the people. Heinrich wields a scythe while Gretchen uses witchcraft; coordinated attacks allow them to unleash combos and finishing moves. Heinrich cannot be killed, but the pair’s survival depends on Gretchen, so her mortality must be kept in mind.
