This first-person psychological horror game follows Sebastian Lee, a resident of Stirling, Scotland, who vanished without a trace and wakes up captive in the winter of 1992. The player explores an old manor, damp caves and a forest while trying to uncover what happened and find a way to escape.
Exploration involves examining, collecting and using objects, solving puzzles and fighting enemies. The world and the route forward change as the player progresses, while foes—including wildlife and strange creatures—appear dynamically. Weapons are not always available, and items help with survival and progression.
