A science-fiction arcade shooter set centuries after the events of RefleX, as ancient technology sets in motion a chain of events that threatens humanity. The KAMUI fighter craft, built using Xaffiquel Theory brain-fusion technology, is central to the threat.
Across six stages, the player fights enemies across high- and low-altitude planes. An auto-targeting Lightning Attack builds score multipliers, while the Lightning Katana destroys enemy bullets. Difficulty can be selected from several settings or adjusted by the game according to the player's skill, and a rank system is also included.
