Joylancer is an action-platformer about Joy Lantz, a young recruit at the Motor Knight Academy who takes on the Roselian army as it attempts to reclaim Antoria. She fights with the power of her divine armor and the Joylance, a motorized lance-drill.
The game features a main campaign, bonus stages and challenges, a cooperative Dark Palace mode, and competitive Motor Combat. Local play supports up to four players. Progress unlocks characters, levels, and more than 50 pieces of equipment that grant new abilities, while eight difficulty modes offer different levels of challenge.
