This strategy game with sandbox and shooter elements follows a toy-soldier army defending a house from an insect invasion. The campaign alternates between a turn-based Home Mode, where the player manages headquarters, recruits troops, buys ammunition, gathers intelligence and plans army movements, and real-time battles against the insects. Any selected unit can be controlled in first person, granting a damage bonus.
The army can field infantry, armored vehicles, artillery and aircraft, as well as defensive structures and traps. The insects gather food to create new swarms and evolve their nest, so the player must secure resources and disrupt their plans. Battlefield experience unlocks additional units, while secondary missions include attacking enemy convoys and taking part in aerial dogfights.
