A real-time strategy game about Scotland’s fight for freedom from English rule during the time of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. The story begins with Kenneth McAlpin uniting the Picts and Scots in 843; four centuries later, Edward I has brought most of Scotland under his control. Four nations feature distinct units, knowledge, skills, and strengths in areas such as economy, diplomacy, and warfare.
Four historical campaigns span more than 30 missions. Players manage an economy built around five resources, master craftsmen, and open trade, while battle units gain experience, level up, receive upgrades, and use special abilities. Seasons change during missions, and castles can be built on mountains. A freely rotatable camera and full-range zoom provide different views of the battlefield.
