Guitar Hero II is a music game built around playing rhythm, bass, and lead guitar parts along with rock tracks. Players choose from several rock characters and advance through a career that begins in small clubs and bars and moves to larger venues, including stadiums and arenas, as performances improve. The game features more than 55 tracks.
Two players can perform together or compete in several multiplayer modes, including cooperative play and head-to-head variations. A practice mode lets players work on their guitar parts.
