This arcade fighter in the Guilty Gear series stages battles across multiple levels spread over both screens, featuring characters from previous games. Fights against computer-controlled opponents or other players require navigating different floor types and avoiding poison, fire, thunder, and bomb traps. Special moves such as Psych Burst, Dust Attack, and Roman Cancel are also available.
The game has six modes, including Arcade, Story, and VS Battle, alongside a selection of mini-games. Robo-Ky Factory lets players customize Robo-Ky's move set, while completing mini-games such as billiards, arm-wrestling, and sword practice unlocks additional moves. Wireless versus matches support up to four players, with the last fighter standing declared the winner.
