This hip-hop music game has players perform rap tracks and work their way toward a career as a rap star. Get On Da Mic features 40 hip-hop songs and eight levels covering different aspects of a rapper’s career. Multiple difficulty settings accommodate players with varying levels of experience.
Players can choose and customize one of eight characters, buy outfits and accessories for them, and use their earnings to decorate a home. The crowd and surroundings react to each performance: spectators cheer when it goes well and leave when it does not. Multiplayer Freestyle mode lets players perform their own lyrics, while Party mode offers karaoke-style performances to the game’s tracks.
