A real-time strategy game about building castles, managing settlements and waging medieval siege warfare. Players gather resources, develop the economy, produce weapons and raise fortifications, then defend them or attack enemy strongholds. Castle layouts can include defensive lines and traps for opposing forces.
The 21-mission story campaign follows the effort to reunite medieval England and reclaim lands held by four renegade lords: the Rat, the Pig, the Snake and the Wolf. Objectives include breaking sieges, capturing castles and holding off enemy attacks. A separate economic campaign focuses on gathering resources and producing weapons within a time limit, while other modes offer peaceful castle building and battles over historical castles.
