This futuristic beat ’em up follows four heroes fighting their way through city streets to confront a criminal leader and his army. Players choose one of the four characters and battle waves of enemies using hand-to-hand attacks and weapons, from knives and firearms to objects and car engines. The route can include a choice of which territory to travel through.
Each character has distinct combat traits: Hawk Manson is stronger than Mace Daniels, while she is faster; Ben “Smasher” Jackson is slow but can lift and throw car engines. Alana McKendricks is quick and agile, with an effective jump-kick. The journey begins at a police cordon around the leader’s skyscraper and passes through a shopping mall, a subway and a Coast Guard base.
