This boxing sports simulation pits fighters with distinct styles against one another in the ring. It lets players match legendary heavyweights Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali, whose approaches differ: Tyson presses the fight at close range, while Ali relies on his reach, hand speed and mobility.
A physics-based animation system accounts for clean hits, missed and glancing punches, and knockout blows, while also enabling rough inside fighting. Blocking and ring movement are part of each bout, with fatigue, adrenaline, footwork and timing affecting the boxers’ actions.
