A boxing simulation centered on title bouts, where punch accuracy and defense are controlled with the analog sticks. In Fight Night 2004, the right stick determines the direction and power of each punch, while the sticks also let fighters bob and weave, block attacks, and counter.
In Career Mode, players create a fighter and progress from amateur bouts to title contention and undisputed champion status. Ring entrances can be customized with hand-picked music, special effects, and an entourage. An online mode lets players face other boxers.
