This fantasy interactive fiction follows a novice Enchanter sent to stop Krill, a powerful warlock spreading chaos and destruction. The more experienced members of the Circle of Enchanters dare not confront him, leaving the newcomer to rely on Krill overlooking him as harmless. At the outset, the hero has only a few weak spells in a spell book.
The player explores the world and casts spells by entering commands for a text parser that understands more than 700 words. Each spell is represented by a magic word used as a verb, and spells must be prepared through memorization before they can be cast. More powerful spells can be found on scrolls in different locations, while Krill responds as the hero becomes more of a threat.
