A historical strategy game set amid the global conflicts of the 18th century, including the American struggle for independence and competition for Eastern trade routes. The campaign unfolds on a turn-based world map, while battles on land and at sea play out in real time.
Land battles feature artillery and muskets, calling for new formations and tactics. Naval combat makes its series debut in 3D: players command fleets or individual ships, fire cannons and board enemy vessels. Trade, diplomacy and espionage are also part of the campaign, whose map spans Europe, India and North America.
