A science-fiction visual novel about love on an Earth threatened by a mysterious red star. To save humanity, the unified government plans an evacuation into space and creates the felixes, genetically engineered people with exceptional intelligence and longevity. Sion, the most gifted of them, has spent a century at a research facility on a remote island, while soldier Ryou Haruna is sent to keep watch over her.
Sion seeks freedom from the military’s control, even as humanity’s future rests on her purpose. Rather than relying on the conventional visual-novel format of sprites and talking heads, eden* tells its story mainly through event illustrations, using a widescreen presentation that gives the narrative a cinematic feel.
