This basketball sports game and follow-up to Double Dribble features 16 teams loosely modeled on NBA clubs. Each city’s team name reflects the culture of its venue.
The game offers Exhibition, Multi-Play, and Playoff modes. In Playoff mode, a selected team advances through a tournament bracket: the opening round is a best-of-five series, while later rounds are best-of-seven. Each player has an energy gauge that also affects shooting effectiveness, and the shot clock is displayed in both seconds and milliseconds. With Sega’s Team Player Adapter, up to eight people can play.
