Desert Bus VR is a bus-driving simulator built around an eight-hour desert journey from Arizona to Nevada, based on the 1998 mini-game. The player drives a passenger bus that can reach 45 mph but pulls noticeably to one side, making it difficult to stay on the road. After reaching Nevada, the route can be repeated in the opposite direction.
Driving off the road summons a tow service that returns the bus to the start in real time. The bus has a horn and doors, and the radio can be switched on or off during the trip. Multiplayer supports up to four friends, who can ride as passengers, wave at the driver, and throw wads of paper at them.
