DEO is a physics-based platform puzzle set in a dark stretch of space, where the hero restores life to a planet by completing levels of rotating hills. The goal is to jump from hill to hill and capture pieces of land, judging the force and precision of each leap. Tapping the screen makes the character jump; holding the tap before releasing sends the character farther.
The game features two worlds and 96 levels, including six bonus stages. Completing a level adds land to the planet, while the number of deaths affects how many plants and how much life it produces. The backgrounds and visual design draw on surreal, dark, and organic imagery.
