An action-adventure game with fighting and platforming elements, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is set in the world of martial arts. Players battle skilled enemies with kung-fu techniques, weapons, acrobatic stunts, and superhuman moves.

The combat draws on the Wudan style, inspired by choreographer Yuen Wo-Ping. The game retells the film’s story through its confrontations and action.
