Close Combat: First to Fight is a team-based first-person shooter set amid modern urban combat in the Middle East. The player leads a four-Marine fireteam through the dangers of the battlefield, taking command of the squad as it moves through the city.
The game was developed with input from active-duty United States Marines, including personnel with combat experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. Its developers aimed to portray modern urban warfare realistically and built a dedicated 3D engine for the game.
