A science-fiction first-person shooter in which a special forces team investigates the loss of contact with a research base near a meteorite impact site. Scientists have spent twenty years drilling toward the meteorite’s centre, and a communications blackout is followed by strange radiation from the facility. The player’s mission is to discover what happened there.
Enemies include 20 types, from deranged marines and scientists to mutants. Eight weapon types are available, including a blaster, shotgun, plasma gun and rocket launcher; some weapons have alternative firing modes. The single-player campaign features secret rooms and special quests, while multiplayer offers ten arenas and Capture the Flag, Team Arena and Deathmatch modes for up to four players.
