This arcade action game follows a caveman gathering food and building a family while avoiding predatory dinosaurs. The player controls Bill, who uses a club to stun women and fight roaming creatures; smaller animals can be dragged back to the cave as food. Larger dinosaurs can eat potential wives and food, and kill Bill on contact.
The changing seasons affect the number and variety of animals and set the pace of play. In spring, each wife who has food gives birth to a child; in autumn, hungry wives die and hungry children leave home. Bill can die of starvation if he fails to feed his family, or of a broken heart if too many wives leave the cave.
