A space strategy game with roguelike elements, Battlevoid: Harbinger centers on exploring procedurally generated galaxies and fighting enemies that threaten humanity. The player takes the role of a young commander venturing into hostile territory, where each jump through hyperspace can lead to unexpected encounters.
The commander assembles and equips a fleet, completes missions, discovers new technology, and manages resources. Decisions on the star map and turn-based strategy are combined with real-time battles. Ships can be fitted with offensive and defensive weapons, individual targets can be selected, and enemies can be lured into traps or distracted with distress signals.
