A sandbox for creating and playing battle scenarios spanning eras from the Stone Age to futuristic science fiction. Ancient Warfare 3 features modes such as deathmatch, conquest, king of the hill and zombie survival. Players can fight or spectate, while adjusting the rules and environment.
The battle editor lets players place units, objects and traps, as well as customize the behavior of units and objects. Separate tools are available for creating custom units, weapons, equipment and other objects, while a visual scripting editor can define rules and behavior in battles. Player-made content can be shared and used in custom scenarios.
