Alter World is a 2D puzzle platformer set in a parallel reality governed by different rules. The protagonist searches for a friend, overcoming obstacles by switching between two worlds—a mechanic also used to solve puzzles and progress through the levels. The game is inspired by Stephen King's The Dark Tower series.
Alter World features 80 handcrafted levels across ten worlds. Progress calls for careful timing and quick thinking, and the story has multiple endings. Its visuals are hand-painted, accompanied by an atmospheric soundtrack.
