This chess simulator offers 2D and 3D play, with matches against a virtual opponent and player-versus-player duels on the same computer or online. Difficulty settings and additional features can be adjusted to suit different skill levels. In Chaos Mode, the opponent makes random moves, while a rotating board provides a changing view of the position.
A separate puzzle mode challenges players to finish interrupted games within a set number of moves and unlock further positions. The editor can recreate moves by famous chess masters or create original puzzles for sharing through Steam Workshop. Position aids include visual clues and an undo feature, while an in-game chess wiki explains the rules.
